How to test a blank nickname before saving

A blank-looking name has to survive the service’s own field. Use the preview as the decision point: it can preserve the character, remove it, reject the paste, or show a box. Keep a visible fallback ready before you enter a screen with a limited rename.

In Free Fire, wait for the lobby, tap the avatar in the top-left corner, then use the yellow pencil beside the nick. Paste the chosen character into Change Nickname and inspect it before confirmation. Saving can use a name-change card or diamonds, so check the lobby after the change and, when possible, how it appears on another device.

In PUBG Mobile, open Inventory from the lobby, select the Rename Card, and choose Use to reach the nickname field. Check the pasted result there before confirming. PUBG Mobile’s help center says a Rename Card can be used once per day; after it saves, read the new name in the lobby rather than trusting the edit field alone.

For VALORANT, open account.riotgames.com and edit the Riot ID Game Name, the part before #. Riot documents a 3–16 alphanumeric Game Name and a free change every 90 days. A blank-looking paste that the account form rejects is the end of that attempt: keep the visible fallback and save only a Game Name the form accepts.
