Test in Free Fire before you confirm

The rename field counts 12. Each letter you paste is one — kana, hangul, Arabic and ツ included.

The nick must be free, and Confirm spends a name-change card or diamonds. Settle the paste first. In BR and ID lobbies the Japanese look is usually a latin stub with ツ, 々 or メ — a smaller ask than a full katakana word.

This is not a certified “accepted in every build” list. Copy, paste, watch the field. A box on a friend’s phone is their font.

1. In Free Fire, wait for the lobby. Tap the avatar top-left, then the yellow pencil beside the nick — not the account id. Long-press the field and paste.
2. Paste once. Do not confirm yet. Watch the field for two seconds.
3. Letters vanish, the field shakes, or Confirm stays off: that client refused the script. Do not pay. Walk the fallback list below.
4. If the letters stay, read the counter, then confirm once. Check the Free Fire lobby list and a friend’s phone before another rename.
5. A box on someone else’s screen is their font. An empty slot after save means the filter stripped the letters after Confirm.

If the symbol tofu or vanishes

1. Drop to ★ ☆ ♡ first. They sit in more fonts than the fancy stars.
2. Then ツ 々 メ around the latin stub. Smaller ask than a string of emoji.
3. Still refused: latin only, or a Hangul Filler gap on the blank page.
