Overwatch invisible name
Overwatch shows the BattleTag from your Battle.net account. Its name rules require 3–12 characters and reject spaces and symbols, so choose a readable BattleTag instead of spending a change on a blank paste.

Check before you paste
Where to change your Overwatch BattleTag
- Sign in to the Battle.net account you use in Overwatch.
- Select your account name, then open Account Settings and Account Details.
- Find BattleTag and choose Update. That is the name Overwatch displays.
- Enter a readable name with 3–12 characters. BattleTag does not accept spaces or symbols.
- Check whether your free change is still available before confirming; later changes can be paid.
A blank-looking character has no valid place in BattleTag’s name rules. The account form is the useful check here: a rejected paste means you can leave without using a name change.
A BattleTag change also appears in other Blizzard games on the same account. Pick the visible fallback before you save, especially when the account asks you to buy another change.
