Check before you paste
How to put an invisible space in Valorant
- Prepare a visible Game Name for the Riot ID form. It gives you a safe choice if the field declines a blank-looking paste.
- Open account.riotgames.com and sign in with the Riot account linked to VALORANT. The change happens in the account settings.
- Choose Riot ID and edit the Game Name before #. The Username remains the credential used to sign in.
- Use 3–16 letters or numbers in Game Name, then check the separate tag after #. Keep the result that the form accepts.
- When the preview is right, press Save Changes. Riot says the free Riot ID change becomes available again 90 days after the last one, and the new ID appears across Riot games.
VALORANT shows the Riot ID Game Name. The tag after # distinguishes the full ID, and the private Username is the credential for signing in.
Sources give conflicting advice about blank-looking characters in Riot IDs. Treat the account form as the final check: when it declines the paste, select the visible Game Name prepared in the first step.
