How to put an invisible space in Fortnite
- Prepare a visible Display Name with 3–16 characters and keep it ready for the account form.
- Sign in to the Epic Games account used for Fortnite and open Account settings. Your email address must be verified before the Display Name can be changed.
- Use the box labeled Display Name. This is an Epic account setting, not a Fortnite lobby profile field.
- Enter the new name and choose Continue only after you have checked it. If a lock appears, the last change was within two weeks; wait for the cooldown instead of trying random characters.
On PC, Mac, Switch, and mobile, the Epic Games Display Name is the name shown when you play Epic games. On PlayStation or Xbox, changing it does not change the PSN ID or Xbox Gamertag, so the name shown can differ by platform.
The current catalog has no dated `works` result for a blank character in Fortnite’s Display Name. Treat the Epic account form as the boundary: a rejected paste calls for the visible fallback, while an accepted name still needs a check in the Epic service you use.
