Copy the blanks, paste them in the nick and see in Fortnite which one stays invisible. Confirm only after it still looks empty on a friend’s list.

Check before you paste
Test the blank in Fortnite before you pay
The rename field counts 16. Each letter you paste is one — kana, hangul, Arabic and ツ included.
Epic’s display name is stricter than most mobile battle-royale fields. If a full katakana word fails, drop to the latin stub plus ツ. Island titles and chat accept more than the account name — do not treat those as proof the name field will keep it.
- Copy the first blank from the list above. Not the spacebar.
- Change the Epic display name (often on the Epic account page, not only in Fortnite). Leave the PlayStation or Xbox login alone — those IDs are tighter than Epic.
- Paste once. Do not confirm yet. Watch the field for two seconds.
- Letters vanish, the field shakes, or Confirm stays off: that client refused the script. Do not pay. Walk the fallback list below.
- If the letters stay, read the counter, then confirm once. Check the Fortnite lobby list and a friend’s phone before another rename.
- A box on someone else’s screen is their font. An empty slot after save means the filter stripped the letters after Confirm.
- If you see a square, copy the next blank and paste again before you confirm.
Questions
Japanese nick instead?
Use the Japanese Fortnite path. Generate kana, then test in the same rename field. If kana will not save, the fallback there is latin plus ツ — not more blank.
