Test in Identity V before you confirm

The rename field counts 14. Each letter you paste is one — kana, hangul, Arabic and ツ included.

The wiki notes that most special characters cannot be pasted from the clipboard. If paste dies, type the character. First Change Name is free; later screens show Inspirations.

This is not a certified “accepted in every build” list. Copy, paste, watch the field. A box on a friend’s phone is their font.

1. In Identity V, open the person icon at top-right, File tab, wrench, Change Name. If clipboard paste fails, type the character. Stay inside 14.
2. Paste once. Do not confirm yet. Watch the field for two seconds.
3. Letters vanish, the field shakes, or Confirm stays off: that client refused the script. Do not pay. Walk the fallback list below.
4. If the letters stay, read the counter, then confirm once. Check the Identity V lobby list and a friend’s phone before another rename.
5. A box on someone else’s screen is their font. An empty slot after save means the filter stripped the letters after Confirm.

If the symbol tofu or vanishes

1. Drop to ★ ☆ ♡ first. They sit in more fonts than the fancy stars.
2. Then ツ 々 メ around the latin stub. Smaller ask than a string of emoji.
3. Still refused: latin only, or a Hangul Filler gap on the blank page.

Which symbols does Identity V accept?

You see that in the rename field, not in a grid. Paste one, wait. If Confirm lights up and the mark stays, this client kept it. We do not invent an acceptance table.
